Payment Policy

Booking Amount : Rs 5000 per person
20% of the trip cost to be paid 45 days before the trip departure date
30% of the trip/trek cost to be paid 20 days before the trip departure date.
Balance amount to be paid 10 days before the trip departure date

Additional Information

- - Additional Expenses Due to Uncontrollable Factors: If unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather or other factors out of the operator’s control arise (e.g., extra hotel stays, meals, or transportation), participants will need to cover these additional costs. Zo Adventures or its hotel partners are not responsible for these expenses.
  - Not Responsible for Changes Beyond Control: Zo Adventures is not liable for changes in the itinerary due to reasons beyond its control, such as altered flight or train schedules, cancellations, political unrest, UNION ISSUES or natural disasters.
  - Leaving the Tour Midway: If a participant decides to leave the tour before its completion, they must pay for the bike’s transportation from their departure point back to the designated drop-off location.
  - Luggage responsibility: guests are responsible for keeping their luggage safe. the company is not accountable for lost, damaged, or stolen belongings. carrying a small daypack for valuables is advised.
  - Non-transferable and non-refundable bookings: Bookings cannot be transferred to another person and are non-refundable.
  - Any government orders, harsh weather conditions, landslides, protests, or other unforeseen circumstances may require changes. zo adventures will try to provide alternate plans/trips/treks, but no refunds will be given.
  - If any trip/trek/expedition cannot be started or completed at the last moment due to natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances such as rain, earthquake, snowfall, landslides, strikes, etc., no refunds will be provided.
  - Any additional expenses arising due to natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances like rain, earthquake, snowfall, landslides, strikes, etc. during the trip will be borne by the customer.

Cancellation Policy

- For cancellations, kindly reply to the email you received from us at the time of booking.
- The booking amount is non-refundable.
- 60 to 45 days before the departure date: 10% of the total trip cost will be cancelled
- 44 to 30 days before the departure date: 25% of the total trip cost will be cancelled.
- 29 to 15 days before the departure date: 50% of the total trip cost will be cancelled.
- 15 to 8 days before the departure date: 75% of the total trip cost will be cancelled.
- 7 days before the trip departure date: 100% of the total trip cost will be cancelled.
- No show: no refund.

What To Expect

Day 1: Delhi to Guwahati | Shillong

- - Depart from Delhi by flight/train to Guwahati. Upon arrival, meet the trip representative and proceed towards Shillong. En route, visit Umiam Lake for a scenic stop. Arrive in Shillong by evening and check in to the hotel or hostel. Leisure time to explore local markets. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2: Shillong to Cherrapunji (Sohra)

After breakfast, drive towards Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. En route, visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak. Continue sightseeing in Cherrapunji, covering Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, and Mawsmai Cave. Return to the accommodation by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Cherrapunji or Shillong.

Day 3: Cherrapunji | Living Root Bridge Trek

- - Post breakfast, proceed for the trek to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat village. The trek passes through lush forests, stone pathways, and suspension bridges. Spend time exploring the area and nearby natural pools. Return to the base village by late afternoon and head back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Shillong to Dawki | Mawlynnong

- - After breakfast, drive towards Dawki, known for its crystal-clear Umngot River. Enjoy river views and optional boating (at own cost). Continue to Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village, and explore the village pathways and viewpoints. Return to Shillong by evening. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Shillong to Guwahati | Departure

- - After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Guwahati. Visit Kamakhya Temple (time permitting). Proceed to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for departure, marking the end of the Meghalaya backpacking trip.
